The priorities of the State sanitary and epidemiological service are the guarantee of sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population, prevention, detection and elimination of dangerous and harmful influence of human environment on health. Combined sanitary and antiepidemic measures with supervisory responsibility are aimed at preserving and improving the health of the personnel of internal affairs agencies. The detection of interconnections of socio-communal, socio-economic and social induced diseases among the contingents of internal affairs agencies is necessary for improving the federal state sanitary and epidemiological control.

UNEXPECTED CHEMICOTOXICOLOGICAL TESTS AS PREVENTION OF NON-MEDICAL USE OF PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

The article deals with the joint activity of the personnel inspection, the internal affairs department and the medical professionals of the Head Department of the MIA of Russia of Moscow for chemico-toxicological testing in process of medical examinations of police staff. For increasing the effectiveness of this work, the inspections in the territorial subdivisions of the internal affairs agencies were unexpected, without notification of personnel. The authors presented the review of the legal and regulatory framework, problem issues and possible solutions.

SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PILONIDAL CYSTS COMPLICATED BY MULTIPLE FISTULAS (Case study)

The urgency of the problem of surgical treatment of pilonidal cysts complicated by multiple secondary purulent fistulas is primarily due to a high incidence of postoperative wound complications, frequent recurrences of the disease, long-term temporary disability of patients. In order to improve the results of treatment, various methods of operative measures are used, complex plastic operations are developed and implemented. The authors of the article used the simple skin plastic surgical method with good short-term and longterm results for the treatment of pilonidal cysts complicated by multiple fistulas.

THE NOVELTY IN DRUG-FREE THERAPY OF ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS

The article deals with the new methods of drug-free therapy of ankylosing spondylitis. The authors conclude that the chronic progress clinical course of ankylosing spondylitis and side effects of pharmacotherapy induce to use drugfree methods for improving the efficiency of treatment. New technologies make it possible to complement traditional methods of physiotherapy of patients with ankylosing spondylitis and increase the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation activities. Natural and preformed physical factors are important in drug-free therapy; their application contributes to the lengthening of disease remission, increasing the functional and adaptive capacity of patients, improving their quality of life.

EXERCISES WITH DYNAMIC CONTROLLED MUSCLE TENSION AND THIN-LAYER PELOTHERAPY FOR REHABILITATION OF PATIENTS AFTER SHOULDER ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY TREATMENT

The article deals with improving the effectiveness of rehabilitation of patients after shoulder arthroscopic surgery treatment on the base of combined using exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension as a component of functional treatment and thin-layer pelotherapy. Patients received basic therapy including symptomatic medicines and movement therapy in accordance with the standard method. In addition to basic treatment, the patients did the course of exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension in the immobilization period and continued to do this course in combination with thin-layer pelotherapy in the form of local applications in the postimmobilization period. Inclusion of exercises with dynamic controlled muscle tension and thin-layer pelotherapy in the therapeutic complex had a more significant effect on the main clinical symptoms of the disease, regenerative processes and promoted earlier recovery of shoulder joint disordered functions.

THE INCIDENCE OF COMMUNITYACQUIRED PNEUMONIA OF CONTINGENTS OF THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS AGENCIES OF THE AMUR REGION

Community-acquired pneumonia is one of actual problems of bronchopulmonary pathology and widespread disease not only in Russia but abroad. The article deals with the analysis of the incidence of community-acquired pneumonia among the contingents of the internal affairs agencies of the Amur Region. The authors pay special attention to epidemiological specifics of community-acquired pneumonia spread, give information about the microbiological composition of the sputum from patients with community-acquired pneumonia and their antibiotic sensitivity, and provide recommendations for the implementation of preventive measures.

LEGAL REGULATION OF SAFETY MATTER OF WORK WITH CADAVERIC MATERIAL

At present, the basics of topographic anatomy and operative surgery in medical schools are taught without using dead bodies. At the same time, the practice of teaching the basics of surgery has shown that it is impossible to study those disciplines where practical work with cadaveric material is necessary only with using models and simulators. This necessitates the improvement of the federal legislation for safe use of corpses for educational and scientific purposes.

Despite the great achievements of modern medicine in the field of wound infection, anesthesiology and resuscitation science, a high percentage (more than 30%) of pyoinflammatory complications persists in treatment of facial gunshot wounds. Experience in the treatment of the wounded in a face during local armed conflicts confirms this.
The problem of complications, diagnosis and treatment of acute pancreatitis is one of the most urgent in abdominal surgery. For more than a century, acute pancreatitis is an object of close attention of various medical specialists.
Despite relatively favorable world and domestic statistics of the diagnosis and treatment of malignant skin neoplasms (except melanoma), the problem of early, timely diagnosis is urgent, especially in an initial outpatient examination.
The authors studied in comparison healing of skin wounds of the same length and depth given laboratory animals (rats) in the experiment with lasers, radio-wave emission, electrosurgical exposure, plasma and fluid streams. Dissectors’ resources of bacteriostatic action not associated with high-temperature destruction were studied in vitro too. As a result, it was detected that each method has its drawbacks.
